Dress Code

A clean and neat appearance is important for ballet dancers. Dress codes must be honored.  Girls’ hair must be neatly pulled back for class, and if long enough, worn in a bun.

 

GRADED Level Ballet Attire (girls):

Pre-Ballet: Ballet pink leotard, ballet pink tights, and pink ballet slippers.

Ballet1-1X: Light blue (powder blue) leotard, ballet pink tights, and pink ballet slippers

Ballet 2-2X: Light purple (lavender) leotard, ballet pink tights, and pink ballet slippers

Ballet 3-3X:  Burgundy leotard, ballet pink tights, and pink ballet slippers

Ballet 4: Black leotard, ballet pink tights, and pink ballet slippers

 

ALL Ballet LEVELS:

Ballet skirts are acceptable at the instructor’s discretion.

Split sole ballet slippers preferred.

Necklaces, bracelets, tutus, leg warmers, tee shirts, and sweatpants are NOT permitted in class.

Boys’ Attire:

White tee shirt, black tights or pants, white socks, and white or black ballet slippers.

Leotard Color Of Your Choice Week:

Students may wear their favorite leotards during specifically designated weeks.  Please refer to the calendar.

 

JAZZ / HIP HOP:

Any solid color leotard, solid color jazz pants, and black jazz shoes.  Hair must be worn off the face; No accessories.

 

TAP:

Any solid color leotard, tights or jazz pants.  Flat, black tap shoes with single taps only.  Hair must be worn off the face; No accessories.
