Dear PSB Students and Families, we have an exciting announcement from our founding Artistic Director, Suzanne Slenn.

With the new season upon us, I am writing to share some very special news.
After 24 wonderful years of building our studio community, watching generations of dancers grow, and sharing so many special moments with all of you, I have officially passed ownership of Philadelphia Studio Ballet to someone most of you know, Abby Donnenfeld. I hope you will give her the same support and enthusiasm you have always given me.
This is certainly a big change for me. PSB has been such an important part of my life, and so many of you have become part of my extended family. Watching our dancers grow from little children into young adults—and sometimes welcoming their own children into the studio—has been one of the greatest joys of my life.
But this is not goodbye! I will continue to be very much a part of PSB, teaching, working with our dancers, and directing our productions. I am especially looking forward to continuing The Nutcracker, along with the performances and traditions that have made PSB so special, while also creating new experiences and opportunities.
I am genuinely excited for Abby as she begins this new chapter. She grew up within this studio, knows our students and families, and I am confident that she will bring her own energy, ideas, and enthusiasm while building on everything we have created together. I look forward to supporting her and seeing PSB continue to grow.
I am deeply grateful to every dancer, parent, teacher, and family who shared this journey with me. There is so much to look forward to, and I am excited to continue seeing all of you in the studio, in the classroom, and on the stage.

Hello everybody! I am beyond thrilled to be continuing our beloved dance studio into the future for many years, and many generations of dancers to come. I love this studio with my whole heart. I could not be more grateful to be trusted with continuing Miss Suzanne's undeniable legacy.

In addition, I am pleased to tell you, we have two incredible teachers returning to us: Sydney Donovan and Meredith Reffner-Callendar.
