Please join us for our open house on September 4th from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. and September 6th from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at our temporary location at Masonic Hall, 35 Ardmore Avenue, Ardmore PA.
In addition to what has been established in the past, there are new and exciting programs being offered. Please refer to our schedule to see what has been added.
Particularly noteworthy is the invitation extended by the Pennsylvania Ballet; offering the students of Philadelphia Studio Ballet an opportunity to audition for their Nutcracker. This spectacular ballet can be seen every holiday season at The Academy of Music in Philadelphia. Only a few studios are invited, so it is quite the honor! Many were accepted and the experience provided our students the opportunity to learn, rehearse and perform while getting a peek at the commitment necessary for a career in dance. Last year, one of our boys played the featured role of Fritz!
At PSB there are two opportunities to perform in The Nutcracker. Our own production has become a Holiday tradition. Even if your child does not want to be a professional dancer, students gain invaluable experience performing in a professional environment; but ultimately, it is the excitement of being on stage that they cherish the most.
The studio is also proud to announce the formation of a fully funded boys class taught by professional dancers. Details will follow as they are confirmed.
Also for the first time we are offering the ability to register for classes directly from our site.
